What we are
ExpertSquads is a professional-matching service operated by ExpertSquads LLC that connects consumers with credentialed local professionals in legal, tax, financial, contracting, and IT services. ExpertSquads is not a law firm, accounting firm, financial advisory firm, contractor, or IT services provider. All professional services are delivered by independent practitioners with their own credentials, fees, and policies.
What we collect
When you complete the match form, we collect: the category of professional you need, your ZIP code, the urgency of the matter, your budget range, first name, last name, email, and phone number. We also receive your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your submission from our hosting provider.
We do not collect your Social Security number, bank account information, or any other sensitive identifier. ExpertSquads will never ask for that information. Any pro who asks for sensitive information before you have engaged them through a written agreement should be reported to us at [email protected].
What we share — important
When you submit the form, we share all of the information you provided with up to four (4) pre-screened credentialed local professionals in or near your ZIP code so they can contact you to offer a free initial consultation. By submitting the form you consent to this sharing and to being contacted by ExpertSquads and the matched pro(s) by phone, text, and email.
We cap matches at four per request. We do not sell your information to general marketers or list brokers, and we do not share outside the credentialed-professional network.
TCPA notice
By submitting the form you provide express written consent to be contacted by ExpertSquads and up to four (4) of our partner professionals at the phone number you provided, including by autodialer, prerecorded message, and SMS, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts or asking to be removed on any call.
Retention
We keep submission records for 24 months for compliance and quality control. After that, records are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
Cookies
One session cookie to remember which step of the form you're on. No third-party tracking pixels, no behavioral profiling, no advertising cookies.
Your rights
Request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. 30-day response. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah residents have additional rights under state law — same email.
Do not sell my info
ExpertSquads does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Our sharing with matched pros is solely for the matching purpose you requested. To opt out of any future sharing, email [email protected] with subject "Do Not Sell" and we will flag your record.
